Happy New Year!

And Happy Birthday, Maggie! Ten years ago yesterday morning, 7:02am to be exact, Maggie Louise made her first appearance in this world.

This is her last year at her party, since we haven't had her party for this year yet. She says she doesn't want to have one this year...not sure why, but I need to get to the bottom of that.

We had a fun New Year's Eve. We rented Poseidon, and on Paul's suggestion, we all dressed up in "formal wear" to watch it! So fun. What a bunch of goobers! I don't think we'd get invited to the Captain's table. haha!

Did I blog about Christmas yet? It was a nice one. The kids got up at 3AM...3! I kept sending Maggie back to bed until finally at 5:30 I gave up and got out of bed. Later, Paul's mom and dad came over and we had a delicious rib roast for dinner, and of course lots of pie. It was a relaxing, fun day.

The Saturday before Christmas we went to a bonfire at our friends' house, and Sam wanted to take an appetizer tray. He is really into cooking lately. I think it's because he loves to use a knife. haha But I had to share this pic of him and the tray he put together...all by himself! Check out the celery stalk tree with a lime base. Stinkin' cute! He was so proud.

I think that wraps up the last couple of weeks. I am taking down Christmas stuff and reorganizing some closets this week. I love this time of year! I'm so motivated to clear out the old and get things pared down and organized. One of my favorite things to do! Have a great week.
