Today is our thirteenth wedding anniversary. In 13 years we've had three babies; owned 8 different vehicles and two different houses; had 3 dogs, 4 birds, 2 rabbits and now 4 llamas; a handful of E.R. visits for each of us and countless with the kids; buried a mom and found a long-lost father; saw a son graduate, join the Army and fight in a war; became grandparents; laughed, cried and prayed together. All side by side. I'd say I'm pretty lucky to have him. Here's to many more lucky years together.
Tuesday we hit the State Fair for the usual rides, food and trip to the barn. It's the same every year, but it never gets old. My FAVORITE part of the fair is the Denali Cream Puff booth...but this year I abstained. I passed on the 1,000 calorie, guilt-ridden delight. Talk about will power. :)
Saturday, the girls and I hung out at Scrap Shack and played away the afternoon. I just love hanging out there. It's so cozy and welcoming. :) And I don't have to jump up and answer the phone, or switch the laundry from washer to dryer, or unload the dishwasher. Enough said? I played with some of the new Jenni Bowlin goodies Heather has. I forgot to take a picture of the layout, but it's up at the store. I used a fun Bingo card...too cool. She got in some of Jenni's exclusive papers, too. SO pretty!
OK, all this talk about scrapping is makin' me want to go play! Have a great Monday. :)
