Moving like a herd of turtles.

That's how I feel. Progress on the home front is slower than slow. But it's progress, right? That's my "word" for the year. Progress.

I put up some new shelves in my laundry room yesterday for some much-needed storage. You know a man designed my home, because it is seriously lacking in closet space. Big on room size, but no place to hide anything. So I've been trying to remedy that with some organization.

How do you like my cute little window treatment? It's an apron I picked up on my junking expedition across Iowa. It needs a little something...I'm going to work on that later.
