Check out Sam's cool Mardi Gras costume! His class goes all out with the festivities, so of course we had to hit the thrift stores to come up with a good costume. I made his red cape from a velvet skirt, and the faux fur collar came from a coat. Total cost: $1.25 His "sceptor" is an old shower curtain rod with some hot-glued beads, streamers and gold tassel.
How pretty is this mama moose? She has twins that look like they're from last year, but unfortunately by the time I grabbed the camera, mama shooed them away out of sight. They've been hanging around our neighborhood this week. Don't you just want to smooch that big fuzzy nose of hers?
And for no particular reason, other than I love him. :)
